Wayen Sing Chow homered and drove in six runs to lead Maui Na Koa Ikaika to a 10-5 win over the Hawaii Stars on Saturday night.

The North American Baseball League game was played at Iron Maehara Stadium on Maui. The Stars (25-28) will play Na Koa Ikaika (32-27) in the final game of their six-game series at 1:35 p.m. today. It’s also the final season game for the Stars while Maui goes on to finish its season with a six-game series against the San Rafael Pacifics this coming week in California.

Sing Chow, a left fielder, went 2 for 4 with his six RBIs to spark Saturday’s win. Sing Chow and Kalaika Kahoohalahala each had two hits to lead the hosts, who jumped to a 10-1 lead through five innings and held off a late Stars’ rally.

Maui scored one run in the bottom of the first, five in the second, three in the third and one in the fifth to take command. The Stars plated a run in the third, one in the eighth and three in the ninth before Maui reliever David Jensen got the final three outs.

Maui starter Mike Williams went seven innings and picked up the win. He struck out 10 while allowing five hits and one run. Hawaii starter Paul Jinkens pitched three innings, giving up seven hits and nine runs. Jinkens took the loss. He was one of five Stars hurlers to battle the Maui squad.

Matt Hibbert, Keoni Manago and Anthony Williams each had two hits for the Stars, who outhit the hosts 10-8. Hibbert and Williams also had two RBIs apiece.
